All-You-Can-Eat Crawfish Fest at The Cajun Place 2019
Mudbug season is in full swing and that can only mean one thing – time for the All-You-Can-Eat Crawfish Fest at The Cajun Place in The Village at Allen.
Festivities begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 4 and continue through 4 p.m. with mudbugs, music and merriment – all for a good cause. There will be steaming platters of fresh crawfish, corn and potatoes – served up alongside mouthwatering red beans and rice and jambalaya. The Big Daddy Band will take the stage at noon.
Proceeds from the annual fundraising event will be donated to The Allen Community Outreach, which has been serving those facing financial crisis in Collin County since 1985. ACO provides free comprehensive human services to help families avoid hunger and homelessness and gain financial security. They offer income support including food, clothing, utility, and housing assistance, medical visits and prescription assistance, as well as education and employment services.
“We’re looking forward to another record-breaking crowd this year,” said Ross Haislip, General Manager of The Cajun Place. “The Crawfish Fest is one of our favorite ways to enjoy time with our guests while giving back to the community. Bring your family and friends and join us on our outdoor patio as we dish out all-you-can-eat mudbugs, live music, and fun.”
Crawfish Fest tickets are limited and on sale now for $35/adults, and $15/kids under 12.
